New ARB Airlocker – Hummer H3, GMC Canyon & Chevrolet Colorado
ARB just announced a new front Airlocker (RD148) for the US models of Hummer H3, GMC Canyon & Chevrolet Colorado.
Specifications:
- 28 spline axle.
- 30.5mm [1.20"] axle shaft diameter (outside of splines).
- 10 bolt ring gear.
- 117.51mm [4.63"] dia. ring gear ID.
- 193mm [7.6"] dia. ring gear OD.
Features:
- Patented “timed” locking mechanism offers high strength and
ultra fast un-locking. - Comprehensive photo illustrated installation and service guides
covering both aluminium housing and cast iron housing
installations. - Steel reinforced, elastomer bonded annular seal designed to
handle the most extreme climactic temperatures on earth. - Patented 2 piece design offers a range of interchangeable side
gears (sold separately) to integrate with non-standard axle shaft
splines. - Larger ID of replacement tapered roller bearings offers 85%
increase in load capacity at the bearing journals. - Both high quality Timken tapered roller bearings are commonly
available sizes but are included in the ARB Air Locker kit.
