Jerry PS Just kidding. Columbia County, Oregon is known for the most appropriately named town in the state: Mist! Other than that I'll let Rich answer all the good stuff about Columbia County, Oregon.

| Mike & Linda from Jewell, OR (Clatsop County, but close to Columbia County) are long-time members of Backroad Drivers Northwest and acquaintances of both Rich and me as well as others on this forum. Mike has worked for logging companies in the area for several years and with his knowledge of logging roads and other backroads he has suggested we hold some driving tours in that area. Due to illness and other family problems they have not been able to get around to hosting an event. Ken, if you are interested in contacting Mike just drop me a personal message with your email address and I will pass it on to him. Jerry
