I have been considering running a Photography tour.

Specificaly to teach photography.

One day, 3 stops, and 3 training sessions (one at each stop).

1st stop - How to adjust your cameras settings. Why to use something other than AUTO mode. Using your camera's handbook.

2nd stop - exposure, and manual controls.

3rd stop - composition (most scenic stop, and afternoon-evening light)

If it were two days, we could spend the second day, at a few locations, with all questions & answers.

Brian,

That sounds like fun. Keep my schedule in mind if you set a date.

A photography tour would be fun. I just have a pretty standard camera though, but would like to learn how to get the most out of it.

Any other events in Washington I'm pretty much interested in, it just depends on when they happen for the most part.

We might do the Moss Springs to Mt. Harris Loop in conjunction with the Imnaha Tour in late September; maybe on Friday.

I'll pick a date for the Barlow Road. August 9th. And that'll be Government Camp to Wamic. or something like that. East bound anyway...

I'd love to go, but have a conflict on the 9th. Any chance of going on August 16th?

Hey, thanks, Ryan. We will be there! I missed the last Barlow Road tour and am really looking forward to this one. For those who don't know, the Barlow Road was originally a toll road around Mt. Hood for people coming across on the Oregon Trail. Google it and you will find all sorts of neat history. Anyway, we will be driving in the tracks of the first northwest settlers.
