Tour Announcement

Treasures of the Snoqualmie Valley
January 12, 2008

Happy New Year everybody! Now that the holidays are over and things are settled down it is a good time to get out of the house for a breather. Our Treasure Tour will only last a day, but it will be fun for everyone. It's a suburban adventure that will take us to antique shops and museums, a visit to Snoqualmie Falls and the discovery of other treasures as we drive paved backroads between east King and Snohomish County communities in our search for whatever reaches out and grabs our attention.

Our jaunt will begin in North Bend, Washington where we will meet at the North Bend Bar & Grill, 145 E North Bend Way (425-888-1243). The restaurant is located off Interstate 90. Take Exit 31, head into town, turn right on E North Bend Way and the restaurant is about a block and a half up the street. Come early for breakfast or coffee with the group and plan to leave the parking lot at 10:00 AM.

Our exploratory pursuit should finish by late afternoon in the town of Snohomish, the antique capitol of the Northwest, and all roads will be paved so drive the vehicle of your choice. Look for us in our silver Ford Escape with Backroad Drivers Northwest stickers and we will monitor CB channel 22.

We hope you can make the trip and although RSVP is not required it would be appreciated.

See you there!
Jerry & Evelyn from Yakima

Treasures of the Snoqualmie Valley
January 12, 2008

Hey, it's January of 2008, a brand new year! And just one week from now we will be meeting for our first Backroad Drivers Northwest event of the year. Our Treasure Tour will take us to antique shops and museums, beautiful Snoqualmie Falls and other treasures as we drive paved backroads between east King and Snohomish County communities.

Our jaunt will begin in North Bend, Washington where we will meet at the North Bend Bar & Grill, 145 E North Bend Way (425-888-1243). The restaurant is located off Interstate 90. Take Exit 31, head into town, turn right on E North Bend Way. Come early for breakfast or coffee with the group and plan to leave the parking lot at 10:00 AM.

Our exploratory pursuit should finish by late afternoon in the town of Snohomish, the antique capitol of the Northwest. Again, all roads will be paved so drive the vehicle of your choice. Look for us in our silver Ford Escape with Backroad Drivers Northwest stickers and we will monitor CB channel 22.

We hope you can make the trip and although RSVP is not required it would be appreciated.

We are looking forward to seeing you!
