Default Washington Photo Expedition/Outings?

Would anyone be interested in an organized photo expedition / day outing? It would be outdoors and be of the Landscape and/or Wildlife Photography genre mainly in Washington State.

We live in one of the most beautiful parts of North America, so why not photograph it and share it for years to come.

The trip would be a great opportunity for members to meet as well as share tips and tricks about photography. I know there are some very good photographers on this board as well as some aspiring photographers who want to learn more about this great form of art. The trip would be available to Beginners as well as Advanced Photographers.

Let me know if anyone is interested or if you have suggestions for outings.

Winter, spring, summer or fall? It could be ongoing. Personally I like the fall and spring, but I shouldn't be picky because I have so much to learn about photography I could start in a gloomy basement. As to location the best turnout would be on the west side of the mountains, unfortunately for us dry-side folks.

Sounds good to me Steve! I'm always game for a day out "there" somewhere with my camera.

With the Mountain Loop highway opening on October 26th you might think about that as a trip. Sometime in November would be cool.

Regarding the Mountain Loop Highway Tour, just for general information that run is on our calendar for October 25, 2008 when we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Backroad Drivers Northwest group. It was the group's first road trip on October 24, 1998.

You are more then welcome to join us. But don't hold your breath, the anniversary trip won't happen until a whole year from now!!! We should probably move this matter to the Chit-Chat forum so we don't hijack anymore of Stevens thread.
