 Rimrock Backroads, July 7th Rimrock Roads and Trails July 7, 2007 Located a bit east of White Pass, Washington, Rimrock Lake shares it's northern shoreline with U.S. Highway 12. Rimrock is surrounded by an evergreen forest and steep mountains hiding twisty Forest Service roads that offer spectacular views of the lake. The roads climb fast as they sneak up rocky crags to remote vistas. It is indeed very beautiful country. Our plan is to check out a few of the more scenic roads and trails on Russell Ridge and the Wildcat Creek drainage to the north of the lake. Most roads are expected to be in good condition and should be passable by any SUV or pickup. If you are interested in attending please let me know and I will send you the time and meeting place.
