Have you ever wondered what it would be like to take several months or even a year off from work, pack up your vehicle and just travel the world? Unfortunately, such a trip is not an option for most of us, however, there are people who actually get to experience the world in this way. Here's a couple of vehicle dependent overland journeys that are currently in progress where you can follow along right at home.

Lone Wolf Transglobal Expedition 2007 will travel around the world through 33 countries in 12 months. Starting in the UK this month, the expedition will travel through Europe, the Middle East, China, Southeast Asia, the United States, Mexico, Central America, Central and Northern Africa and back to Europe. You'll also find some great information on how they set up their Land Rover Wolf Defender for the journey.
