Well folks, this is it!

It's time to plan for our 6th annual trip to Papa's
Toy Collection in Cornelius, OR.

If you haven't been yet, you need to go. If you have
then come along and enjoy the day.

We plan to leave Hawk's Prairie Inn at I-5, Exit 111 at
8:00 am SHARP! Look for the 1947 Oldsmobile. (Dk.
green and white) If you have a CB radio, we monitor
channel 22.

We will be stopping at Exit 68 at 9:00 am to get rid
of too much coffee and pick up other cruisers.

This is an excellent open house/car show! Entry fee
is by donation to the Doernbecher Children's Hospital
in Portland, OR. Participants bring their own 'toy'
to show, so the car show outside is as good as the one
inside.

We will be doing lunch in Cornelius and then find a
back road home. More info on this car show can be

Evelyn and I have made the run with Jim & Kerry to the Papa's Toys car show and it is great! The drive down from Lacey, Washington is fun and you will like the scenery going over Cornelius Pass.

The main show is a private INDOOR collection of over 150 classics, customs, street rods and one-offs open to the public only once a year. PLUS there are that many or more collector cars in the parking area driven to the show by local car club members.

It is quite the show! Everyone is welcome; you can drive your grocery wagon, dirty old Jeep or drive your special interest car and they will make a place for you up front.

Hot dogs, burgers, coffee and soft drinks are available at the show, but plan on going to lunch with the group afterwards.
