Default My Weekend Project - Full Float Axle in my FJ80

What was going to be a weekend project was delayed by rain until this morning.

I had the old axle out of my 1992 Toyota Landcruiser by Noon and now have the full floating, rear disc brake replacement axle bolted in.

Now just a matter of reassembling everything. My goal is be on the road by Monday afternoon.

I forgot to mention new coil springs in the rear (OME 2864 - 400kg rating) and new shocks all the around.

Way to go, Steve! Quite an improvement. Please give us an update after the FJ experiences a few bumps and bruises.
