Default Yakima Hamfest, Saturday, April 11th

YAKIMA HAM FEST, THIS SATURDAY, APRIL 11TH

Looking for used ham radios, tuners, antennas, meters, test equipment or other stuff? Come join us at the Yakima Ham Fest this Saturday, April 11th at the Selah Civic Center located at 216 S 1st Street in Selah, WA. Selah is a bedroom community just north of Yakima and very easy to find off the freeway.

This swap meet has been held at the same location for several years and vendors from all over the northwest will be there with all sorts of electronic equipment for sale. This is your chance to save a few bucks and buy some experienced ham radio gear as well as rub shoulders with some of the folks you talk with on the air. Buy or don't buy, it's a fun time no matter what.

    Time schedule:
    7:00AM to 10:00AM Breakfast
9:00AM to 4:00PM Swap Meet Hours (Rumor is the doors will open at 8:00AM, but this is unconfirmed)
    11:00AM to 1:00PM Lunch
12:00 Noon VE Testing (Technician to Extra)
    2:00PM Hand Held Bunny Hunt
    3:00PM Prize Drawings

    Talk-in frequency 146.66 MHz (123.0 PL Tone)

Mmmm, very tempting. Not that I really need anything.

Sound like it would be fun, but the grandparents have the kid for the weekend and the wife and I are going to get away for the weekend.
