On Saturday February 1st, 2014 members of Eastern Washington Adventures, Pacific Northwest Backroad Adventures and guest met up at the Slab ORV Area near Zillah Washington for the annual Eastern Washington Adventures Slab ORV Meet & Greet.

The weather was cold and overcast. The turnout was the smallest than ever in the past. Only 10 rigs showed up. There were three rigs from Oregon and two rigs from Western Washington.

This year we only had one rig that ran Flex Canyon. They had to clear the tumbleweeds out before running it.

Most of the hill climbs werenít hard since this winter there hasnít been much precipitation.

This event was a lot of fun thanks to all who came.

Thanks for sharing! Looks like you had a lot of fun besides the Slab. E-mail me at GoPlay@EasternWashingtonAdventures.com if you would like to get an EWA membership.

I had a great time...although it was hard to tear me away from Ahtanum ridge fun in the sun/snow..
    Better late than never.

The terrain is great when your rig is fully loaded..(every year) . Just to see what you can do on a multiday trip..

Clay you've always been a great host no matter how big or small the turnout. Good times..

Thanks. I am glad you could make it. I kind of screwed up this year by forgetting to post the event other places than my site. I just have been real busy the last six months with many things.

Thanks, Clay, nice of you to say. It's one thing after another that keeps me (us) home. This time it was a sprained toe that hurts like heck...to say nothing of the C-O-L-D temperatures. The Jeep is parked in the garage at the cabin for the winter and the little red Bronco II just sits in the garage until I take it for it's monthly run around the block. Just like taking the dog for a walk but I don't have to feed it if I don't drive it. We will get out there with you guys one of these days!
