Default List of Hams on the Forum

The following is a partial roster of amateur radio operators who frequent the forum. They are listed by call-sign-suffix and first name. If you are licensed and not on the list please (1) remain anonymous, send me a pm with your call sign and I will update the list or (2) post your call sign to this thread. Also, please let me know if you want your location listed with your call sign suffix.

If you are a licensed amateur radio operator and your name is not on the list please PM me with your call sign and I will add you to the other famous (or infamous) personalities. And if you want your location listed, please submit that as well. Thanks!

Updated list. Please see first post above. I think we will see several of these updated posts. That means more folks are getting their ham licenses and that is good. Good for them and good for us because their communication with the outside world just might save the day.

More new names added to the list. Please see first post of this thread.

Congratulations and a big thanks to forum members who have taken time to expand their communication abilities. As mentioned above, "Dependable emergency communications in remote areas is every bit as important as a spare tire, tow strap or winch." If you are a licensed ham and your name and call sign suffix are not on the list please PM me.

Two new names on the list; please see the first post of this thread. Winter is a good time to get your Amateur Radio Operator License. Believe us when we tell you that the exam is much easier than you think and studying for it is far less time consuming than you might have thought. Why do you need this? Because dependable emergency communications is the most important upgrade you can make.
