    Default Mojave Road Trip

Here are some pictures and comments from our trip down the old Mojave Road in late October...

It was a lot of fun, but the trip down there and back from Portland was exhausting! Still, it was well worth it and something we will never forget!

Neat trip, Jeff! Thanks for posting!

Say, how old is Nathan? I've got a Nick (10) and a Nathan (7) of my own. Nick, you will be amused to learn, is absolutely in love with the FJ Cruiser! He wants that as his first car! (Thinking of that already at age 10!

Nick usually comes along on any backtroads trips I do. We'll have to join you and Nathan on one, perhaps this spring.

I have three sons, Aaron and Nathan (twins, both 11) and Jerem, 14.

All three love to go out wheelin', however I can usually only handle 2 at a time and still be able to navigate the trail

We would certainly love to get out with you or anyone that has kids. Our kids are pretty easy going and make friends easily.

Did you see the frog shrine behind the mailbox?

Did you see the secret message at the rock pile 'monument' on Soda Lake?

    Neat pictures, good writeup.

I don't know how, but I missed the Frog Shrine. I knew about it, but I didn't know where it was, so I wasn't looking for it around the mailbox. We did however see the secret message at the rock pile
