 Powell River Backroads The place I get away from it all is Powell River, BC. I take to the backroads in my 4x4 truck, quad or my friend's Suzuki Samari. Powell River is on the mainland, but feels like an island because you cannot get there by road, only ferry. Follow Highway 101 north to the end of the road (or the beginning as they say in Lund). There are great places to camp while exploring all we have to offer. Here are a few shots from my travels.
