"Land Cruiser and a Winter Afternoon"
© Steve G. Bisig
Automotive photography is a passion of mine. Whether it is a street rod, classic car or a 4×4, I enjoy capturing details and including scenic backgrounds when possible.
When we made a family trip this past weekend to the lower Kittitas Valley near Ellensburg, Washington, I couldn’t resist capturing this image of my Toyota Land Cruiser on my cousin’s property.
The snow covered field, the overcast sky, and the hills in the background made for an ideal black and white image.
Camera specs: Nikon D700, Nikon 80-200mm lens at 80mm, F16 @ 1/60 second, ISO 200.
Processed in Adobe LightRoom 3 beta using the Black and White film preset from Make Light Real.
Toyota FJ80 Land Cruiser, Born on Date 6/92, Rebuilt 3FE, Factory Tow Package, OME 850/863, Pin7 CDL, ARB Bull Bar, ARB Side Bars and Steps, ARB Touring Rack, Storage Box, Dual Batteries, Winch, FJ Cruiser Wheels, 285/70R-17 BFG M/Ts, Safari Snorkel plus stuff sitting in my garage waiting to be installed.
