Learn about hiking and trail riding in and near Boise

[IdahoStatesman.com] Local outdoor writer Steve Stuebner has a new book out, "Boise Trail Guide: 75 Hiking and Trail Running Routes Close to Home," and he'll provide a sneak peek of what's inside during a presentation Wednesday, July 30, at REI. The hiking and trail-running routes Stuebner will highlight - including trails in the Boise Foothills, Boise National Forest, Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area and Owyhee Mountains - are all within an hour of town.
