Respiratory disease afflicts house finches

[TheNewsTribune.com] Anyone who has fed birds for any length of time knows that house finches appear more prone to disease than other species. Growths or tumors on their feet and heads seem to be their most common affliction, but in 1993 another disease appeared within their population.
