Hi Tom,
Welcome to the forum! Saw you on the EWOR Forum, too. You sure have some nice rigs, really top notch. I would like to see them in the iron and make your acquaintance at the same time. Hope you can make it to some of our driving events.
Jerry from Yakima

Hey Jer, Im sure going to try. Cant wait to git that 60 back from the restoration shop. Had a frame off done on her. Then it's off to ARB in renton for the rack and awning and away we go. See how well that OME heavy duty suspension handles that 50 gallon main tank....

Steve, I would have liked to have gone on that four day adventure of yours. Did you have enough fuel for that thing? Looks like it was fun.

Well if I had your 1200 mile range, most likely enough fuel, but at 8-12 mpg and a 25 gallon tank, not even close.

After fueling up in Carson, I fueled in Packwood, Cle Elum, Chelan, Winthrop and Conconully (not really needed, just for the margin) before reaching the border. From the border I topped off in Omak before the drive home.

Its a fun trip and with a lot of hard core driving to do it in four days.

You know (Im sure of it) that a few very large fuel tanks are made for that 80 of yours!?!

This is what I have in my truck:

And this replaces your spare!

Brother, the only time youve got to much fuel on board is when youre on fire!

The extended range fuel tank is definitely on my list of things to do, as the budget permits.
