Thread: Subaru and Suburban in Carbonado Wa

  1. Subaru and Suburban in Carbonado Wa

    Hi guys,
Apparently I never did introduce my self here. I have been reading posts for a long time and I thought I had posted some of my own. Apparently I was mistaking. ANYHOO. My family and I enjoy exploring the backcountry, mostly forest service roads and BLM. We have explored extensively in Gifford Pinchoet National Forest, Mt. St. Helens, West Yakima County, the area between Packwood and Trout Lake and East Pierce County. I am looking forward to seeing alot more areas this summer. We have a 99 Suburban half ton that is our long range, comfort and capacity rig. Our other rig is a 86 Subaru GL wagon. I have built a roof basket for it as well as a lift. In a couple days I will install some 235 75 15 tires on it. This one is the one we take when the trail is likely to get narrow or "scratchy". The paint on the subaru isnt so good so I dont mind scratching it. We camp, fish, hunt, hike, and explore all the time that we can spare. So thats us more or less.
    Mike
