| Brandon over on OlympiaFJ60.net has a piece on driving what he calls “Blue Highways” (the secondary highways on the maps), and specifically a loop he recently completed beginning and ending in Yakima and taking him along the Columbia River to Vantage, Ellensburg, and through the Yakima River canyon. Read the entire trip report at Driving the Blue Highways - Yakima to Vantage to Ellensburg. Enjoy. Also posted at OlympiaFJ60.net - Driving the Blue Highways - Yakima to Vantage to Ellensburg

| Thanks for the plug Steve. I hope to make this a regular segment of my blog. Since I will be traveling with a 7 year old for most of it, I will have plenty of "kids" places cited too. I haven't been hitting the forums much lately. I need to remember to come over here though when I head out to Yakima (every other weekend for my wifes work) or other trips. |

| Keep up the great work. It's great to hear the trip reports. Feel free to post up an excerpt and link to your blog. Steve
