| All Wheelers Off Road Club - New Years Run January 1st, 2008 On New Years day 2008 we met up in Tampico. We headed to Nasty Creek Corals and aired down. 4WheelingPlus off loaded his rig there. We headed Nasty Creek road toward Pine Mountain to BSLM's land. ![]() After we turn off onto private land, the North slope snow drifts were deep. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() One of the drifts gave us a hard time. Icesis had to drive down and around it because the two Jeeps that were winching Scuba had dead batteries. ![]() 4WheelingPlus gave it a shot after Scuba was pulled through. ![]() 4WheelingPlus had to winch through too. ![]() ![]() I tried to crawl through and got stuck too. ![]() 4WheelingPlus tried to pull me. That didn't work so BSLM tried to pull too. ![]() That didn't work so BSLM pulled 4WheelingPlus on out. ![]() 4WheelingPlus turned around to winch me out. ![]() ![]() Here is the group up on top of the ridge. ![]() P309 and 4WheelingPlus headed back out. ![]() We headed on toward the cabin. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We got to the cabin and started a camp fire. ![]() ![]() Some of us decided to take the loop for some more wheelin' fun. ![]() Icesis found the ditch. ![]() Scuba wasn't making it up the hill so well. ![]() ![]() ![]() BSLM flying by. ![]() Back at the cabin around the fire. ![]() After awhile we headed back out. This was a great run. I can't wait to do it again. |

| Nothing like burying your rig up to your body/frame in snow. Is this all on private or public land? I see the reference to "BSLM" land. Steve

| All but the first picture was taken on Private land within the Ahtanum State Forest. There are miles of open public land that is about the same to drive on in the area. The Year Ends runs were on the next ridge over and open to the public. |
