Default Year Ends Snow Run - Day 2 of 2 (Dec 30th, 2007)

Year Ends Snow Run - Day 2 of 2
December 30th, 2007

On December 30th, 2007 we met up at the Cowiche Mill Road DNR parking lot. I lead us up onto Cowiche Ridge. Most of our tracks from the day before were gone. I took Tail Gunner at this point since I had a low rider.

Here we are at Snow Drift Hill.

On up the trail.

Here is where we stopped the day before.

The guys tried to push on farther.

No luck, all stuck.

I pulled 2 rigs out with the Tweety Jeep.

I started back up the trail.

Icesis tried to make his own line on the way down and that didn't work so well.

Once we got in the open we had fun passing each other. Sometimes we couldn't see from the snow coming onto the hood.

P309 showing off. lol

His clutch linkage broke so Icesis winch him up.

As P309 headed to the trailer, Icesis and I ran up to see how the snow was on the road up to Hatton from Cowiche Mill Road. Icesis ran into a big snow drift.

Icesis backed up and plowed on through the drift. He stopped on top to ask us where the trail was.

Some how Icesis backed up over a stump so we had to get in front of him so he could winch off of it.

It was getting late so we headed on out. Thanks to all that came for the fun time.

Very nice write up & pix. Looks like a really fun day.

That snow is too much...

Great pictures. Snow definitely adds a challenging element to adventures. Especially when you find hidden obstacles under the snow.
