Definitely looks more fun than staying home and watching the Superbowl yesterday!

Headed out to Walker on Sunday morning. We met up with a buddy of mine in the parking lot at 1030 making a total of 3 rigs on this run. There was going to be a 4th, but they got glass in their sidewall the day before and didnt have a reliablle spare for the trail. So they opted out this go round. Given the conditions of the trails last time, we started on the hill climb to the rock pit and porceded through the upper sections and finished with the lower. The trails were even more torn up than before, but it made for an awesome day. We managed to hit every section this time and still made it out of the park by 3.
Sarting upper
The boulder was pretty tore up so it took the longer wheel based vehicles a couple runs to get the momentum to carry them over. The wrangler was in the sweet spot and walked right over it.
A couple vid of muddy hill climbs/decents
*sorry for the shaky shots on a couple of them. Trying to walk backwards and down hill on that clay while keeping the camera square isnt that easy.
I was the camera man again, so the wrangler pis are lacking. Everyone left a paint mark on a tree/stump or two and there was a bit of minor damage, but 7 sections in 4hrs 15 minutes with never haveing to grab a strap made for an awesome day. Wish more could have been there. My buddy is getting a new rearend in his rig and regearing plus adding a locker as will, so we will be doing a test run in a couple/few weeks to any one interested by then. Just let me know and I will let you know.

yeah, not going to lie...I didnt care either way about the game this year. haha. Definetly had a good time though. My wifes rig(the Cherokee) took a bit of a beating though. So she is getting some work done to her rig; removing the sliders because they stick out too far, trimming the fenders a bit more, hockey pucks for bump stops, removing the flares and adding either 33x10.5 KM2s or 34x10.5 Swampers. Also getting a pair of 4.5" coils from a buddy to replace the spacers in the front. Its a great rig, just needs the fine tuning. And I am getting rid of the Baja Claws on my rig and going with the 33x12.5 swamper.

Well, we willl be heading out that way on the 26th. Or it maybe on the 19th?, but I am thinking the 24th is the better bet. Hopefully you can make that one. It is going to be a test run for my buddys new chrysler 8.25 with chromoly shafts, a locker, 4.10s, and 34x10.5s. And we could be running our new tires by then too...but we will see. We have to buy another commuter first. haha So anyone who would be interested, speak up and keep the date open and we will keep you all posted.

March would work. I was saying that the test run will be in a couple weeks, but it is just going to be a quick run through on a couple trails to test out the new gear. But if you would be down for a March run, pick the best date and we will see if we cant generate a bit more interest by then. Maybe post in the trip planning again and get a good size group to meet up. We have a wedding down in olimpia on march 20th, but anyother weekend would work in march.

Those are some great pics. if you know anybody with a completely ruined 2003-2006 TJ I'm looking for a project. even something that resembles a frame would work...
I have a brand new 6" super lift and slip yoke eliminator that I need to sell or get a frame..and build. The Escape isn't Damaged enough to destroy yet...
For sale Nerf Bars and a 6" super lift still in box for a 2003-2006 Jeep TJ
be sure to post it up if in march , i am going to try to make it. mud would be a change from snow
Will do. We are shooting for the tail end of the month (march). We have a wedding on the 20th, but the 27th is looking good, maybe even the 13th. We went out this weekend in my TJ and a couple buddies brought their XJs. Had a blast. Plenty of mud, and saw alot of sweet rides and wintnessed some good ol carnage when people chose the wrong line or got throttle happy. But I will get a date posted in the next weekor so for everyone.
