Default Highest point

I remember dragging a J24 from St Pete to Miami in '89 for the J24 Mid-Winter Nationals. The highest spot we ever saw was the top of a causway (sp) Too flat for me too!

It was nice to sail in warm water in January though. The spray didn't chill you to the bone like it does here (shivering smily)

Paul, I'm trying to convince the wife to come down to see the tall ships in the boat but she keeps complaining it's too small for the sound (I miss the salt chuck

We experienced the same thing on a drive from New Orleans to Panama City in the Florida panhandle. We were on I-10 near Mobile or Pensacola (doesn't matter which) and saw a sign reading, "Viewpoint Ahead". Turns out the viewpoint was from a freeway bridge that spanned a small body of water. At, what, 30 ft. elevation?

Default AC in Off Road Rigs

There's a lot to be said for having air conditioning in off-road rigs. Of course you don't want to run it while putting along real slow so as not to overheat the engine. Otherwise turn that sucker on and C-O-O-L off. It helps keep the dust out, too. Sure wish I had it in the Wrangler and Cherokee!!

I replaced the radiator a couple months ago. This one cools so well the thermoatat opens and closes. It was wierd to watch the temp guage go up to N then drop way back down. I thought something was way wrong until the weather got warmer and it stabilized.

Still does it when temps are around 40*

I'm not to worried about overheating, except the tranny.

We're getting thunder and lightning right now, the dog is shaking in the corner.

Got the job too!
