It would help to have the missing piece(s), but mine are long gone. Not even sure where it happened since I run into so many things Will file your suggestions and come back to them when I am ready to do the cosmetics.

Default Flare Repair

Jerry -

I'm always trying to figure out ways to repair my stuff as inexpensively as possible - - and an idea I have to fix the bumper trim on my front bumper may work for your fender flare.

Consider using some flexible black plastic garden "edging", used by landscapers to border gardens and such to reinforce the backside of the fender flare. Its usually 6-8" high, in lengths of 10-12'. Then you can build it up on the outside with resin or Herculiner...

Just my two cents. . .

That's a GOOD idea, Paul. I have been wondering what I might use to fill in the missing piece and I think you have come up with it. I think it would take a permanent curve by adding a little heat.

Default Cheap Fixes

Jerry -

Best of luck with the repair... Here's one of my inexpensive upgrades - - $2.16 worth of plastic gutter guard to enhance the look of the original grill on the Ford Explorer.
