Default My Deuce.

Hi guys.
I thought I should place a pic of my truck up.
1985 AMG 2 1/2 ton M35a3 6x6 . AKA the Deuce.
This is an older pic of when I first got home after
picking up the camper. Alot has been done, but
there is still a lot to do.

Yea,
it has the multi fuel or Hypercycle motor.
It runs on Dei, BioD, WVO,SVO, Avation Fuel. Peanut oil,
Coconut oil. Used Tranny Fluid or Gearoil,Typewriter oil,
Even gas with 85 octain or less. You can skimm gas or oil
off a pond or puddle, let it settle out and put it in the tank.
I was told by a Motor pool guy that if you had enough hooch
the night before you can pee in the tank and it WILL run. It will
knock and pre detonate but will get you down the road.
It also gets right around 9 mile to the gallon, Not bad for
14,000lbs.

Sweet rig. I'd like to see more pics and see some trip reports from that.

You might have some clearance issues ... with branches that is ...
Nice camper must be dry and comfy inside - perfect for westcoast weather!

I've got to ask, how do you get the camper in? I mean, how would the jacks clear the side of the bed?

And black? Must get hot in there!

You just gotta use jacks for a duelly pickup.
Some people call them tri pod jacks.
I left the top white so it would reflect more heat
but so far it has not heated up at all.
Well this is Seattle and I dont think weve had any real summer
weather yet so it still could warm up. Also the A/C in the camper can cool the inside the cab if you leave the pass thru window open.

Looks like my kind of camper!

You can do as some of my multi-fuel Deuce friends do and mix used motor oil in the tank to save money on diesel fuel! Maybe a little cheaper gasoline mixed in as well. Could be fun at the gas station running both gas and diesel nozzles into the tank from two side-by-side pumps! Be sure to have a video camera running if you do that!
