Default The Toy Man's Toy

No - it's not a Toyota but a Nissan 2000 Xterra with various 'enchantments' - mainly ARB locking differentials that have saved my rear numerous times. 31x10.50R-15 BFG AT KO tires - no lift. Had a Warn winch crawler winch installed last year. Have only used it to pull a Jeep out of the Mojave river.

The pic is of the rock on the Little Rubicon in the Tillamook SF OHV area.

Welcome to the forums.

Looks like a nice rig. I'm sure you've surprised some onlookers with the capabilities of a "stock looking" vehicle (no lift, 31 inch tires, etc).

Nice rig! Where and what sort of roads and trails do you prefer to drive, i.e. forest, shrub, fire trails, 4x4 trails, western, eastern, etc?

Wow, nice shot, Dick. I 'bout spit my morning coffee all over my laptop when I saw that picture. To think you came thru unscathed, nice job.

I've seen that rock in videos of the Lttle Rubicon. Talking to an acquaintance about the old Toyota 4x4 vans, he showed my this youtube video of 'yotavan gettin a little trashed right there. (I especially like the factory stock sheetmetal rock sliders!)

Hope to see on the Barstow Rd.

Well I had at least the thickness of a playing card between me and the rock. LOL

And I had a great spotter

I will not be able to make the Barlow road run.
