In an effort to help pay some of the expenses of running the forum, I implemented an optional "Supporting Member" subscription. This subscription is similar to "red" or "silver" stars on other forums.

Basically, the optional Supporting Member adds a few additional options to your account while reducing a few options on the standard membership. (NOTE - if a feature has changed on your profile, this may be the reason)

There are a few details I still need to work out (like the no advertising benefit and the search).

As a Supporting Member, for only $20/year, you get the following options:
  • Upload unlimited attachments.
  • Can Have Album and Upload Pictures
  • Upgraded PM limit to 500 messages (compared to 50 max as a standard member).
  • Personalized User Title under your name.
  • You can customize your blog.
  • You can make yourself invisible online.
  • You can upload and use a profile picture.
  • You can upload and use a custom avatar (the picture under your name).
  • Nearly unlimited signature size (compare to a 100 character, 2 line limit for standard members).
  • Limited or no advertisements.
  • You can see thread deletion notes.
  • Expanded search features.
  • The satisfaction of knowing you're supporting a great Pacific Northwest resource.
