    CEG,

I know we have emailed before in the past but I am just learning about the Trail Watch site. I know one other member here stated they sent me a message to NWJeepn.com about it but due to the enormous amount of spam mail my site seems to generate my filters are set very tight and a lot of things just don't get through.

I have signed up to be a member of Trail Watch and will run a notification about it on NWJeepn.com.

As those of you who visit NWJeepn.com know we have absolutely no tolerance for those who abuse our ORV areas and trails and who continue to wheel on private property and public lands that are off limits to 4x4 use.

We see our favorite pastime being attacked all over the nation from our own back yard to Moab to the Rubicon the environmental "wackos" are always looking for proof or a reason to close down our trails.

Thanks for everyone's efforts and vigilance

Thanks for signing up Ed. We would like you to ad your name to the offical list (ORV Trail Watch • View topic - >> "OFFICIAL" ORV Trail Watch member sign up) so we can show we are real people who are out there watching the trails.

As spring comes around we are going to push the media to spread the word we are out there. Around Memorial Day weekend we see a lot of damage from people who don't care. We hope the word speads that we are out there and will turn problem people in.

    Thanks again, Clay

    Thanks Clay,

I'll get something up on NwJeepn to spread the word ASAP. I also sent the link to my Mother-In-Law who runs Cowboymaps.com and is an avid horse back rider. They also come across the same damage that we see and are ready to lend a hand.

I will help in any way I can just let me know.

Hi, Ed,I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed NWJeepn.com. Thank you for your time and effort on behalf of our hobby. without guys like you and Ceg (Clay) standing up to be counted the rest of us could find ourselves pushing our off-road rigs through Safeway parking lots. I am pleased to know that you are promoting ORV Trail Watch as well as being a member of the PNW Backroad Adventures Forum. Have a safe and fun holiday week and I look forward to meeting you on the trail.

Thanks Jerry glad you like the site and find it useful. I hope in some way we can all make a difference and get the word out that it's not cool to trash our trails and ORV parks.

Just durring this last week I received word from a spokesman from the Cascadia development in Bonney lake that ATVrs had ripped up $1000s of dollars worth of new landscaping and that they were no longer going to issue warnings but would now seek to prosecute all tresspassers to the fullest extent of the law. My wife just the other day noticed a couple of Jeep Cherokees and another rig coming out around a locked gate in the same area. I wished she had her camera.

Funny thing is that Cascadia was more than willing to let guys run up and down the roads in the area but it would seem that once again a few are giving us all a black eye.

I plan on sending out a "Happy New Year" letter to my mailing list with a note about responsible trail use and about ORV Trail Watch urging everyone to get involved.

Happy New Year to all and hope to finally meet some of you this year on the trail....

This is for all USA areas but mostly focused around the Northwest since there seems to be a big problem here. The greenies are using the rule breakers to close our lands.

Yeppers!! the greenies have a bad habit of going from no action to a total extreme
We are talking about the same kind of people who picket an oil tanker by sitting there lazy butts on another tanker which uses the same fuel that they are picketing against.
makes a lot of sense right?
    extremists!!!!!

As in the greenies point out all damage they see and make it sound like all ORV users are bad people. The news media feeds the greenie's message to people who don't even go to these places. The people vote to shut out ORVs because of the damage they cause. That is how the greenies are using the rule breakers to close our lands.
