Yep - Interesting area. I have spent quite a bit of time driving these roads and still find nooks and crannies I have not been down before.
If you drop down the west side and go thru Carlton and Yamhill you can continue on west into the coast range.
One of my favorite quick drives is Bald Peak, Carlton, Nestucca River and south over the hill to Grande Ronde.
