From there we drove FS roads to Hwy 410 around Federated Forest and Sun Top. We took roads 41/Cabin Creek, 52, 7036, I think 7038, 7030, and 70. Other than the first mile, where the bridge washed out, it's all pretty cushy gravel roads. It was a fun drive. I plan on doing some more exploring in the area. I do wish the Lester route was open. | Such a small world! We did pretty much the same route yesterday (Sunday) and were in that area last Sunday the 28th also. Love the view on a nice day from the highest landing high atop Pyramid Peak!! |
