 Mohave River Road
Last night, when I posted, I spoke in general terms and was excited to hear about the ghost town postings. I used to live in Laughlin when I worked in the culinary world. There's alot to see out there. When I do go in the Spring, I will explore both sides of the Colorado River and base myself in Laughlin. On my excursion, I will work my way towards California. On that leg, I will enter the Death Valley area. Also, I want to see the many waterfalls that are in that area of the desert. There are too many things to see in that area to list. There's a desert road from Oatman to Wicki-up that I want to do. Catherine's Landing has areas, for me, to explore. Christmas Tree Canyon is an area of interest, to me, also. Just north of Kingman are some "sand towns" that have areas of interst to me.
Also, when I do my trip, I'm taking some desert trails from Henderson and working my way south towards the Avi Casino. |
