Possible wire routing:
Your windshield is glued into the body, it is not held in with a gasket or molding. There is a decorative trim, around the edge of the windshield, that you should be able to lift out of its groove. If you can do this, you might be able to place the cable, in the bottom of the grove, and press the trim back in place.
This will get the cable from the interior, through the firewall, and to the top of the door.
Then run the coax along the edge of the door frame (outside the rubber seal), to the back edge of the door frame.
Then a short jump over to the roof rail, where it can be routed out along the crossbar, to the centerline. Place the Mag Mount a few inches away from the crossbar. |
