Well that is the thing ... I kind of like to have the permanent install so no hassles, safe net and I can use any time
Well those Lil Will can be had for about $50 so I thinking maybe just try it. I could leave the cables all mounted and just keep the antenna in vehicle and when I want to use it stick it on because a lot of my problems is WHERE to mount it
Can someone with the Lil Will please take a photo for me and confirm that I can physically detach the coax cable leave it tucked under my hood and put the magnet base + whip inside my vehicle for storage?

It is starting to sound like I will go this route rather than mount my Larsen antenna ... spent 30 minutes again today hand holding it everywhere on my vehicle for a mount point. Sadly the best spots would work but people here WILL rip it off
EDIT: FYI my antenna is a Larsen nmo 27 .. trimmed ;p I do not have a SWR but granted that the Wilson will probably work right off the bat when I do tune it do you suppose it will give as good performance as what I am use to? The antenna has given me some crazy performance in the past hah ha.
