Thanks, Mick, good info. I have the Oregon Canyon Road (as well as the Trout Creek Road) marked on my map as roads I would like to drive someday. If we find time on Friday we might go down that way, otherwise will save it for another trip. I imagine we will be scheduling many more trips to SE Oregon.
